Jason Dickstein
The MARPA President is Washington, D.C. lawyer Jason Dickstein. Mr. Dickstein was one of the three original founders of the Association. He became the President of MARPA in the summer of 2007.

As a lawyer in the Washington, D.C. area, Mr. Dickstein has counseled and represented aircraft parts distributors, aeronautical repair stations, air carriers, and aircraft parts manufacturers (PMA/TSOA). He has advised and represents clients on matters concerning regulatory compliance and quality assurance. He has also represented a variety of aviation companies in enforcement actions brought by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Mr. Dickstein has represented trade associations in the aviation, materials, and construction equipment industries, including Aeronautical Repair Station Association, Aircraft Electronics Association, Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association, Airline Suppliers Association, Associated Equipment Distributors, American Concrete Pipe Association, American Concrete Pressure Pipe Association, Modification and Replacement Parts Association, National Stone Association, and the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association.

Mr. Dickstein has represented client interests and counseled clients on matters before a variety of government agencies, including FAA, FHwA, GSA, NLRB, NTSB, OSHA, and PHMSA (formerly RSPA). He has also represented clients' interests before Congress.

Mr. Dickstein prides himself on his ability to resolve client issues in a cost-effective way that supports the client's business needs. While alternatives to litigation often provide more satisfying results for the clients, MARPA recognizes that sometimes there is no way to avoid litigation and we are always prepared to defend our clients' interests. In the litigation arena, Mr. Dickstein has represented clients in commercial, criminal, and administrative law matters. Mr. Dickstein is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia, New York State, the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Fourth Circuit, the Ninth Circuit, the Tenth Circuit, the D.C. Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been admitted pro hac vice to a number of other federal courts based on case requirements.

Katt Brigham
Katt Brigham is the MARPA Senior Program Manager. Since January 2009, she has worked to coordinate logistics for the membership, to manage association events such as the Annual Conference, EMEA Conference, and Winter Meeting, and to facilitate communications between the industry and the association.

Ms. Brigham's varied career background includes administrative and event planning services for Muzak LLC, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and extensive work for conferences and resort concierge services at Walt Disney World Resort for the Walt Disney Company. During the Clinton administration, Ms. Brigham held the position of intern in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building as a part of the team responsible for the management of the correspondance of Socks Clinton, the President's cat.

Ryan Aggergaard
Ryan Aggergaard is MARPA's Vice President of Government and Industry Affairs. Ryan Aggergaard is an attorney based in Washington, DC.  He is an honors graduate of the George Washington University Law School and was a member of The George Washington Law Review.  In his capacity as an attorney, Mr. Aggergaard represents numerous organizations in the aviation industry. Mr. Aggergaard has assisted clients in various matters before the FAA, as well as regarding export compliance matters before the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Department of Commerce. He is also an expert in the emerging field of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS or “drone”) law.

Mr. Aggergaard coordinates MARPA's grant award from the U.S. Department of Commerce Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP), which includes financial and technical assistance from the International Trade Administration (ITA) to support projects that help U.S. companies to export.
