MARPA Member to Member Carrier 1:1 Meetings

MARPA Member to Member Carrier 1:1 Meetings are *scheduled to take place on November 13th during the 2024 MARPA Conference in Hollywood, California. Sign-up will open on May 20th and will close on October 25th.

MARPA members participating in this exciting roundtable-style session between MARPA member air carriers and solutions providers can join us for this special member benefit session. Since all meetings are scheduled and facilitated by MARPA with schedules provided to participants prior to the Conference, there's no worry about scheduling for yourself. While all MARPA members attending the Conference were eligible to participate, meetings are limited to those who signed up after May 20th but prior to the deadline of October 25th. Schedules have been provided to participants by MARPA, via email. Please contact MARPA if you signed up for the session but have not received your schedule.

Participants will arriving knowing they'll meet with their customers or suppliers during this session, so they can keep solutions to their needs in mind from the very start. For both, it eliminates the worry that they’ll go the whole conference without running in to the person they came there to see.

WHY SHOULD MARPA MEMBER AIR CARRIERS PARTICIPATE IN THE ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS?
MARPA has scheduled meetings for you with the solutions providers you need and want to meet with. You can demonstrate to your management that you have meetings on the books for the event, and are assured you'll spend uninterrupted time with each. You can meet suppliers that are new to you, and welcome new opportunities.

Sometimes events can leave you feeling "peopled out", but your meeting schedule will include "breathing room" built in between each session so you can make notes and collect your thoughts. A maximum of two participants per carrier table is requested, but your team may host multiple tables to allow for the most impactful session possible. This is the perfect opportunity to introduce a new employee to your suppliers! It's also a chance to have team members from different departments split their tables to meet with more suppliers, and focus on each department's specific needs.

WHY SHOULD MARPA MEMBER SUPPLIERS JOIN ONE-ON-ONES?
Take the chance to meet with current customers and those you wish were your customers, in a low-stress environment where MARPA does the legwork of scheduling for you. Spend a meeting timeslot with a carrier whose fleet is just right for your parts, who you are sure could use your DER services, or who would benefit from your wealth of knowledge as a consultant. Say hello your customers early in the Conference and be ready to answer their questions about your offerings during your scheduled one-on-one time. Eliminate the worry that you'll go the whole conference without meeting your customers. Demonstrate the value of attending the Conference as a MARPA Member to your management. Even one sale can cover your travel costs to the event and then some; there is clear value to all MARPA Members that attend the session.  Every meeting is an opportunity- carriers are networking with one another and discussing your offerings, so it's smart to attend every meeting on your schedule (even if they're not already a customer).

GUIDELINES:

Sign-up for the session closed October 20, 2023. Meeting slots have been scheduled and distributed to participants, limited to MARPA members in good standing that signed up in advance. Onsite selection will not be possible.

• Air Carrier participants will be seated alphabetically by company and will remain seated as suppliers rotate as scheduled by MARPA, in a roundtable manner. There will be a two-minute "buffer" between each ten-minute meeting.
• All participants must be registered to attend the Conference, and signed up for the session prior to the deadline of October 20, 2023
• No more than two representatives per supplier or air carrier, per meeting
• Carriers may have multiple tables for the same operator
• Meeting timeslots will be scheduled by MARPA, and provided to all participants via email
• Only one supplier sign-up per dues-paying MARPA Member company in good standing will be honored for that company
• Any additional submissions from participating supplier companies will be disqualified 
• Submissions from lapsed MARPA members will be held for 48hrs, and the representative will be contacted and asked to bring their membership into good standing; failure to do so will result in a disqualified submission
• Subsidiary companies under corporate membership, that do not pay individual membership dues, are not considered as individual entities for this purpose
• Each meeting will be equally timed at ten minutes in length, with a two minute buffer between meetings for suppliers to exit
• At the end of each timeslot, a chime will indicate the end of the meeting
• Supplier participants are asked to vacate the meeting table when their meeting concludes
• A brief break will be provided for all participants during the session
• Intentional loitering in the meeting room will not be tolerated during the session
• Once meetings have been scheduled and sent to participants, MARPA will not alter meeting schedules for either supplier or carrier participants
• MARPA is unable to reschedule meetings for supplier or carrier participants who signed up to participate but do not wish to attend the session nor any individual meeting slots as scheduled

MARPA Member to Member Carrier 1:1 Meetings are a benefit for MARPA members only. All categories and types of membership are eligible to participate within their membership category. Please note that all qualified air carriers registering to attend the Conference are members in good standing, provided with complimentary MARPA membership. All other members should contact MARPA with any questions about their member standing.
